Welcome To Peptides UK
HIGH STRENGTH PEPTIDES
What are Peptides?
Peptides are simply short strings of amino acids typically compromising of 2–50 amino acids.
Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins.
Peptides work by manipulating or replicating natural functions, without fundamentally changing them. Naturally occurring peptides have many different functions from hormones, growth factors, neurotransmitters and more. Therefore, the use of peptides for research provides a method of targeting a wide range of cells and manipulating their response for the benefit of scientific research.

Peptides play a crucial role in fundamental physiological and biochemical functions of life. For decades now, peptide research is a continuously growing field of science. Peptide is a molecule formed by joining two or more amino acids. When the number of amino acids is less than about 50 these molecules are named peptides while larger sequences are referred to as proteins. The amino acids are coupled by a peptide bond, a special linkage in which the nitrogen atom of one amino acid binds to the carboxyl carbon atom of another. Peptides (proteins) are present in every living cell and possess a variety of biochemical activities. They appear as enzymes, hormones, antibiotics, receptors, etc. Synthetic peptides may be useful in structure-function studies of polypeptides, as peptide hormones and hormone analogues, in the preparation of cross-reacting antibodies, and in the design of novel enzymes.
We do not provide in assistance in choosing your peptides. Please read some research articles online to help you choose.
We can help our customers understand how to store, mix, and calculate mcg/ml in their solution. Every other question you may have we cannot help with. We always recommend researching online to learn more about each peptide by searching the product name.
We always suggest following a strict mixing procedure. Prior to adding any mixing solution make sure both peptide and solution are at room temperature. This will make sure your peptides are effectively mixed every time. Then gently add your mixing solution into the vial, making sure to drip the solution down the side of the vial to protect the peptide. Then give the vial a gentle swirl before storage for 24 hours in a refrigerator. At that point, the peptide is ready to use.
